The new Raptor 27 comes with a 165Hz refresh rate and 1ms response time. As we’ve mentioned earlier, it comes with THX Certification where it has undergone more than 400 individual tests to ensure colour, tone, and images are displayed as their creators intended.

Its wide-angle IPS display boasts a QHD (2560xx1440) resolution with support for both AMD FreeSync Premium and NVIDIA G-Sync. Apart from that, it comes with 95% DCI-P3 colour gamut and HDR400 capability.

In terms of design, it has a matte-black finish to the forged aluminum base, a textured fabric back as well as a built-in cable management channels running along the backside. Of course, it has to feature Razer’s Chroma RGB lighting, which can be synchronized with other Synapse 3 compatible devices.

For flexibility, the company is also releasing the Raptor VESA adapter, which is sold separately. As you might have guessed, it will allow you to add a VESA mounting plate to the rear of the monitor.

The gaming monitor will be released in Q3 of this year for the price of US$ 799.99 (~RM3,291) at Razer’s website and select retailers. As for the Razer VESA Mount Adapter itself, it will come with a price tag of US$ 99.99 (~RM411) exclusively on Razer.com.

Pokdepinion: It certainly sounds like an awesome monitor to have but it comes at a cost (a very big one indeed). That put aside, there’s no news yet on whether it will arrive here in Malaysia. Would you be willing to get one of them? Let us know in the comments.
