High end gaming monitors with FreeSync are harder to come by than those with G-Sync, and that’s a pity because FreeSync monitors are usually more affordable. There is the insanely wide Samsung CHG90 49″ 32:9 monitor using the new Quantum Dot display technology, but ASUS ROG is ready to offer gamers more options if they do not want such a wide view.

The ROG Strix XG32VQ features a 1440p 16:9 VA panel that has a 1800R curvature for an immersive gaming experience. According to ASUS, the 1800R curvature allows every point to be equidistant from the viewer for a more comfortable viewing experience. The ROG Strix XG32VQ goes all the way up to 144 Hz and has 125% sRGB coverage for more vibrant colors.

It also features ASUS Aura Sync RGB lighting behind the monitor as well as a Light Signature projection kit for a little extra customization.

If you need more width, the ROG Strix XG35VQ is a 35″ ultra-wide 21:9 monitor with a 3440×1440 100 Hz VA panel. The ROG Strix XG35VQ has a bit less sRGB gamut coverage, coming in at 100% sRGB, but that’s still plenty for vivid colors.

The ROG Strix XG35VQ also comes with ASUS Extreme Low Motion Blur technology to deliver a sharper experience for fast paced games and movies.

Both the ROG Strix XG32VQ and the ROG Strix XG35VQ will be available by end of February 2018, with prices yet to be announced. The monitors will be covered by a 3-year warranty, with ASUS Malaysia promising 1-to-1 swaps throughout the warranty period.
