Samsung has recently unveil their newest CHG90 ultra-wide gaming monitor, which is the world’s first 49-inch with 32:9 ratio display monitor.

Samsung CHG90 Monitor

Samsung Unveils CHG90 Monitor - World’s First 49” 32:9 Ultra-Wide Gaming Monitor! 29The brand new monitor from Samsung features a curved-design and new QLED “Quantum Dot” composition, which showcase details in games with crisper color and sharper contrast. It delivers a new metal core and supports both approximately 125% of sRGB color spectrum and 95% of the Digital Cinema Initiatives (DCI-P3) motion picture standard.

With its 32:9 aspect ratio and 3840×1080 double Full HD resolutions across a 49-inch screen, it extends the playing field for gamers. It delivers 1800R curvature and an ultra-wide 178-degree viewing angle, meaning users can view the display no matter from which angle (within a given space, of course).

Samsung CHG90 has a refresh rate of 144Hz and a 1ms motion picture blur time, to reduce motion blur and consistent pictures. It features AMD Radeon’s FreeSync for silky smooth gaming and is also capable of displaying HDR content with twice the perceivable brightness and color compared to standard sRGB.

In addition, it has Picture-by-Picture function, which supports simultaneous connections of two external input, This means you can use the monitor to serve as two separate screens for different devices, ensuring multi-tasking with ease (and not to mention not having to buy two seperate monitors).

The Samsung CHG90 is now available for purchase at a price of RM6499. For more information, you can checkout Samsung’s website.

Pokdepinion: To be honest, I’ve never really fancy big monitors. At 32-inch, it’s just the perfect size for me (that’s what she said).
