The BenQ SW2700PT is an impressive monitor in its own right, sporting a 1440p resolution, 350-lux bright IPS panel and also 99% coverage of the AdobeRGB color space. And now it is officially the one and only display ever awarded by Technical Image Press Association (TIPA) as the 2016 Best Photo Monitor.

SW2700PT

BenQ SW2700PT was awarded for its precise 99% coverage of Adobe RGB color space, vivid high-contrast rendering of deep black levels, and comprehensive connectivity including Displayport, DVI, HDMI, USB 3.0, and even includes a memory card reader and OSD controller.

ARVE Error: need id and provider

BenQ SW2700PT delivers high resolution with wide 178° viewing angles thanks to its IPS technology. Its 14-bit 3D lookup table (LUT) with Delta E ≦ 2,as determined by Comission Internationale de l’Eclairge (CIE) to designate pure color fidelity exceeding the limits of human vision, provides accurate 99% replication of the Adobe RGB color space. With over one billion discrete colors precisely on-line hardware-calibrated and protected by a detachable shading hood specifically designed to prevent glare and ambient light obstruction, SW2700PT produces the most realistic, natural, and reliable colors with the silkiest smooth gradations.

The BenQ SW2700PT is available for RM2690.

Pokdepinion: While I have rather low requirements for color accuracy, I believe this will come in handy for photographers who want the absolute best when post processing their images.
