ViewSonic ELITE, a sub-division for the brand’s professional gaming monitors, has unveiled the new XG240R monitor, which is aligned with partnered software programs that enable customizable RGB lighting capabilities.

With that in mind, you can fully take control of your RGB ecosystem when you use ViewSonic ELITE products and by using these partners’ software. When it is running, the RGB lighting syncs with other RGB-equipped gaming peripherals and hardware.

The ViewSonic XG240R is the first 24-inch monitor under the ELITE sub-brand and is a responsive competitive gaming monitor that delivers esports tournament-level performance. It offers 1080p Full HD resolution as well as a 144Hz refresh rate. Competitive gamers will enjoy the 1ms response time and also available is AMD’s FreeSync support.

As for ports, the monitor includes HDMI and DisplayPort connections, multiple USB 3.0 inputs, as well as built-in speakers. As we’ve mentioned earlier, the ViewSonic ELITE has collaborated with multiple PC components manufacturers to provide compatibility between ViewSonic ELITE RGB monitors and select RGB software from partners. So with the ViewSonic ELITE XG240R, you can utilize RGB software from:

  • TT RGB Plus Ecosystem by Thermaltake
  • Chroma by Razer
  • MasterPlus+ by Cooler Master

The ViewSonic Elite XG240R is now available for purchase in the country. As for the price, it is priced at RM1,089.

Pokdepinion: Specifications looks decent, not anything out of this world though. The main attraction has got to be the capability for you to sync with other RGB softwares. Let there be light!
