GALAX’ GeForce GTX 1070 Ti EX-SNPR White comes with two fans, white backplate and fan shroud and of course, RGB lighting.

White Beauty?

GALAX was one of the pioneers offering their GPUs in white, complete with white PCBs. White PCBs are harder to produce, which was why they were so rare back then. Fast forward to the present, we have the GALAX GeForce GTX 1070 Ti EX-SNPR White, which features a white backplate and cooler but uses a more conventional black PCB.

The GeForce GTX 1070 Ti EX-SNPR White will feature the Pascal GP104 with 2432 CUDA cores, clocked at 1607 MHz with a 1683 MHz boost clock, in line with NVIDIA’s stock clocks. 8GB of 8 Gbps GDDR5 VRAM serves as the frame buffer. The core is fed power via a 5-phase VRM design, while power delivery to the memory is handled by 2 power phases.

The GeForce GTX 1070 Ti EX-SNPR White features four heatpipes for effective thermal transfer between the GPU die and the heatsink. The two 100mm fans can be set to stop spinning at temperatures below 44ºC for silent rigs.

RGB illumination on the GeForce GTX 1070 Ti EX-SNPR White is pretty good, with the edges of the backplate and side featuring RGB LEDs. The two fans only light up in white to better complement the white theme though. RGB illumination can be controlled with Xtreme Tuner Plus, GALAX’ overclocking and monitoring tool which will handle the overclocking and fan controls of the card.

Also comes in Black!

If you prefer a darker look, GALAX also offers the GeForce GTX 1070 Ti EX which comes in black with RGB fans. Aside from the color difference, the GeForce GTX 1070 Ti EX is the exactly the same as the GeForce GTX 1070 Ti EX-SNPR White.

You will need 8 + 6 pin PCIe power connectors to power the cards. Pricing and availability are unknown at the moment, but we are sure the cards will hit the Malaysian market soon!

Pokdepinion: GALAX’ offerings are still pretty tame. I wonder if they will be launching a HOF Edition soon with higher clocks and beefier cooling.
