If you’re planning to get an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3000-series graphics card to further strengthen your gaming PC, it’s going to be tough. It looks like supply issues for the new series of graphics cards may last for months.

During a recent earnings call with investors, NVIDIA Chief Financial Officer, Colette Kress, mentioned that it could take a number of months in order for the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3000-series graphics cards to catch up with the demand from the masses. This would indicate that it would at least be tough to get one by end of this year.

Given industry-wide capacity constraints and long cycle times, it may take a few more months for product availability to catch up with demand.

It was said that the blame isn’t on NVIDIA’s side as it’s mainly due to constraints within the whole industry. Speeding up the manufacturing process simply isn’t possible at this point in time, and they are trying to make the best out of the whole situation. It is said that the issue with the supply chain is expect to last throughout Q4 fiscal year, which ends in late January 2021.

Previously, NVIDIA head Jensen Huang said that the demand for the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3000-series graphics cards will far outweigh the supply they have throughout the year. This would indeed be worse with the holiday season creeping up. It was said that the demand was much higher than they anticipated.

For now, it appears that interested buyers will simply have to wait for more stock. If there is any additional news on the matter, regardless of whether it’s good or bad, we will be reporting it right here so stay tuned.

Pokdepinion: Given the price and the performance you’re getting from them, I’m not surprised that whatever stock is available sold out pretty quickly. Hopefully we don’t have to wait too long for a new batch.
