It is said that the RTX 2060 is built around the TU106 silicon carved by TSMC under the 12nm FinFET node. The Max-Q version comes with a 975MHz base memory that operates across a 192-bit memory. Where else, with the mobile variant, it comes with a base clock of 960MHz and packs 6GB of DDR6, clocked at 1750MHz.

Reportedly, the RTX 2060 could come with 1,920 CUDA scores. According to TUM-APISAK, the RTX 2060 Mobile puts in a score of 19,000 in the 3DMark 11 benchmark on the Performance test.

We could see the new mobile RTX 20-series soon as the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) is not far away from now.

Pokdepinion: Well it seems that the card is NVIDIA’s answer to AMD’s Radeon RX590 for the mid-range spot. I wonder how will AMD respond to this. We could be seeing something exciting at next year’s CES.
