Cooler Master may be late to the game with their first two RGB mechanical keyboards, but they are ready to make themselves noticed in the competitive RGB mechanical keyboard arena. Say hello to the MasterKeys Pro series, a series which is made up of only two members currently, the MasterKeys Pro L and MasterKeys Pro S.

MasterKeys Pro L - Layout 3

The MasterKeys Pro L is a standard full-sized mechanical keyboard. It comes with a detachable cable and cable management channels on the underside for 180-degree cable routing. If you have been reading any of my previous reviews, I believe you will have noticed that the lack of cable management channels is one of my pet peeves with keyboards.

The MasterKeys Pro S comes in a TKL form factor to take up less space on your table. it doesn’t come with cable management channels, but it does come with a L-shaped connector.

The bigger and brighter LEDs can illuminate in all 16.7 million colors. The MasterKeys Pro offers multiple lighting modes. Presets include Color Wave, Breathing, and other responsive effects and is also set to get updates to enhance the lighting modes through coolermaster.com. If presets are not your style, rest assured that Cooler Master is also working on an SDK to allow you to customize your lighting any way you want, and truly make it yours.

MasterKeys software

The 32-bit ARM processor in the MasterKeys Pro allows you to save and play back complex macros. Four profile keys offer quick backlighting and macro recording without hassle on-the-fly without using the software. Program multiple keystrokes to a single key or change per-key backlighting with intuitive keyboard commands.

The Cooler Master MasterKeys Pro L is available now at RM699 while the MasterKeys Pro S is expected to arrive by May 2016.

Pokdepinion: I have been always been a fan of Cooler Master keyboards, and I am personally using an old Cooler Master mechanical keyboard. I can’t wait to try their latest RGB offering!
