Razer Ornata V2 Hybrid Mecha-Membrane Gaming Keyboard Launched
The folks over at Razer have officially launched their newest iteration of the Ornata, the Razer Ornata V2 Hybrid Mecha-Membrane gaming keyboard. It has a number of new features so we’ll take a look at them one by one.
What’s New in the Razer Ornata V2?
The Razer Ornata V2 uses the Hybrid Mecha-Membrane switches, which is said to give a soft, comfortable typing feel with the clicky feedback of a mechanical switch. The newest iteration brings dedicated media controls with an infinite scroll wheel and three media keys. While the functions are for track skip, play, pause, and volume control, they are programmable using Razer Synapse 3.
For added comfort, the Razer Ornata V2 comes with a plush leatherette wrist rest which connects to the front magnetically. It also has fully programmable keys so you can program macros, keybindings, and add custom profiles using Razer Synapse 3. Not to forget, it does come with their signature Razer Chroma RGB, so you can not only get it to light up in millions of colours, you also have access to a variety of lighting effects, including one that syncs with over 100 games like Apex Legends, Fortnite, and more.
The Razer Ornata V2 will be available from today onwards and retailing for RM499 / USD $99.99 / €109.99.
