ASUS has just announced the availability of the first members of the Z370 motherboards here in Malaysia. The boards range from RM770 to RM1386, but we are far from ASUS’ full range of Intel Z370 platform motherboards, yet. We are now looking at four motherboards that are available in Malaysia today onwards.

The boards that have arrived are the “entry-level” ROG Maximus X Hero, the extra-durable TUF Z370 Plus Gaming, the optimized for gaming ROG Strix Z370F Gaming and the more professional-looking Prime Z370-P motherboards. All these boards come with ASUS’ renowned quality and performance-oriented design.

The Z370 platform is designed to extract the most performance out of the overclockable 8th Generation “Coffee Lake” Intel Core processors, but they will work just fine with the locked CPUs too. With the great overclocking headroom of the Intel Core i7 8700K and also the fact that the more affordable motherboards with Intel’s H370 chipsets or lower are still some time away, it would be a pretty good idea to consider hopping onto the Z370 platform if you need a new system now.

The motherboards are available TODAY onwards, with the ASUS ROG Maximus X Hero priced at RM1386, TUF Z370 PLUS Gaming at RM899, ROG Strix Z370F Gaming at RM999 and the Prime Z370-P comes in at RM770. All the boards are covered by 3-years local warranty for peace of mind for first-timers and experienced builders alike.

Pokdepinion: I am looking forward to the ROG Strix Z370-I Gaming. Here’s hoping that it will be quite affordable when it arrives here in Malaysia!
