COLORFUL Introduces Three B760 Series Motherboards

Including two in mATX and one in mITX form factor.

First is the CNV B760M FROZEN WIFI D5 – as the leading model for the B760 lineup, this motherboard gets upsized VRM heatsinks for greater cooling. VRM is courtesy of 12+1 phases with 55A per powerstage; expansion slots include a single PCIe 5.0 x16 GPU slot and three PCIe 4.0 M.2 slots for SSDs. Though, the Wi-Fi remains on Wi-Fi 6 instead of 6E on the contemporary models from other brands.

Next up is the downsized CVN B760I FROZEN WIFI. This DDR4-based platform is fairly limited on power with just a 7+1+1 VRM powerstage design and at just 30A each. As the mITX board, it only features 2 DIMM slots, a single PCIe 5.0 x16 slot, and two M.2 slots running on PCIe 4.0 protocol.

Finally comes the entry-level BATTLE-AX B760M-F PRO: also a DDR4 mATX motherboard, power is managed by 8+1 powerstage, rated for 30A each; two DIMM slots with max. 64GB support; GPU slot is rated for PCIe 4.0 and the same applies to two onboard M.2 slots. Unlike the other two models, which uses 2.5GbE LAN, this model will use a GbE LAN courtesy of Realtek.

All three models are currently shipping in Q1 2023 – though the company didn’t mention detailed pricing on these motherboards.

Pokdepinion: Given the VRM specs, pretty sure K-series CPUs are out of the question for the bottom two models.
