Corsair is well known in the PC industry with their array of hardware ranging from edgy PC cases to premium gaming peripherals. The Corsair M65 has already been updated with RGB lighting recently, and now Corsair announces yet another variant, the M65 RGB PRO gaming mouse which comes with an upgraded sensor as well as RGB illumination.

The M65 RGB PRO’s highlight is the 12000 DPI Pixart PMW336x optical sensor, which is a slightly modified version of the widely acclaimed Pixart PMW3366 sensor which was exclusive to Logitech previously. The PMW3366 is considered one of the most accurate sensors available on the market, and the PMW336x should be no different. It offers surface calibration support so your mouse is always optimized, irregardless of the surface you use.

Aside from the upgraded sensor, the M65 PRO RGB is similar to the previous variants, with its lightweight 115 g aluminium body which can be tuned with weights to change the weight balance, or just to make it heavier to suit your preference. Large PTFE feet reduce the friction when moving the mouse around, making it easy to make swift, effortless flicks.

Eight customizable buttons are strategically placed around the M65 PRO RGB, so you can configure your mouse to suit your specific style of play, or just to make your work even more effortless by programming macros into the buttons. Configuring the mouse is simple via the Corsair Utility Engine.

The Corsair M65 PRO RGB will retail for RM299.00 and come with a two-year warranty. It will be available in black and white color schemes at most major retail stores nationwide.

Pokdepinion: I use the Logitech G502 Proteus Core which has the Pixart PMW3366 in it, and I dare say it is the most accurate sensor ever. I can’t wait to try Corsair’s implementation of the sensor in their latest M65 PRO RGB!
