New Acer Predator Orion 7000 and Gaming Desk Revealed at Next@Acer 2021

At Next@Acer 2021, they had plenty of new products to show off. For gamers, we have the Acer Predator Orion 7000 gaming desktop and Predator Gaming Desk. Here’s what you need to know.

Acer Predator Orion 7000 Gaming Desktop

The new Acer Predator Orion 7000 gaming desktop is designed for gamers who want the best performance possible. It’s powered by up to a 12th Gen Intel Core CPU and NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3090 graphics. As for memory, you can have it configured with up to 64GB DDR5 4000MHz RAM with storage slots for two M.2 PCIe 4.0 NVMe SSDs and two 3.5-inch SATA III HDD (up to 3TB each).

To ensure adequate cooling, it comes with three Predator FrostBlade 2.0 fans, which are two 140mm fans on the front and one 120mm fan on the rear as an exhaust fan. Moreover, it will be equipped with an AIO liquid CPU cooler with Advanced IceTunnel airflow management system. All of the fans, along with the motherboard, comes with ARGB Pulsar Lighting. In case you need to open it up, it features a tool-less design so it’s easier for you to upgrade.

For connectivity, it comes with Intel Killer 2.5G LAN, Intel Wi-Fi 6E (AX211), and 2×2 MU-MIMO technology for a fast, yet secure internet connection. As for ports, you have three USB 3.2 Gen1 Type-A, one USB 3.2 Gen1 Type-C, and two audio jacks on the front chassis, while the rear holds three USB 3.2 Gen2 Type-A ports, one USB 3.2 2×2 Type-C port, two USB 2.0 ports, and three audio jacks.

The Acer Predator Orion 7000 gaming desktop will be available starting Q1 2022 in other regions, but no word yet on local availability and pricing. We will report more on this as soon as information becomes available so stay tuned.

Acer Predator Gaming Desk

If you have been looking for a new table for your gaming activities, the Predator Gaming Desk might be right up your alley. It’s a large 55-inch gaming desk that supports up to 120kg of weight, and has plenty of room to fit a gaming PC, monitor, and some accessories.

You have to options for the Predator Gaming Desk; a carbon fibre look with a protective coating that makes it easy to clean, and the other that’s covered with a custom-designed Predator mousepad. Apart from that, this table comes equipped with a rack for storing gamepads, a cup holder, a tray in the rear for AC adapters, and a headphone cradle / hook.

Pokdepinion: I’ve been wanting to get a new gaming desktop for a while, but I’ve always shied away from pre-built ones. Maybe I’ll give this a shot since it looks easy enough to upgrade, and the ARGB lighting certainly looks sexy.
