Kingston announced the latest Kingston KC2500 NVMe PCIe SSDs with the latest PCIe 3.0 x4 controller and 96-layer 3D TLC NAND. These new SSDs offer chart-topping performance of up to 3500MB/s read and 2900MB/s write speeds, while also boasting of excellent endurance and security.

Kingston offers the KC2500 in capacities ranging from 256GB up to 2TB in the compact M.2 2280 form factor. The highlight of this drive is probably its self-encrypting capabilities, that take advantage of AES-XTS 256-bit hardware-based encryption.

It supports TCG Opal 2.0 security management solutions too to work with independent security vendors like Symantec and McAfee. There’s Microsoft eDrive support as well, which is the security specification for use with BitLocker.
