Kingston M.2 SSD speed up to 1400MB/s

A fast M.2 SSD has just appeared from Kingston, seen at Japan market with price tag for JPY 29,800 (around MYR 1000) for the 240GB version with part number SHPM2280P2/240G and JPY 57,800 (around MYR 1800) with part number SHPM2280P2/480G.

Both the M.2 SSDs tested are able to run up to 1400Mbs, that is one of faster M.2 SSD we have seen in the market. The main specifications are a Marvell 88SS9293 controller, and power consumption figures of 1.38W (average 1.4W) at idle, lead time of up to 1.99W, maximum 8.25W, MTBF is 1 million hours during a write.

Both this Kingston M.2 SSD comes with 3 years warranty but sadly we are not sure if it will ever land at Malaysia, not to mention the prices.
