Here's How to Get Free RM30 Credit for Touch 'n Go eWallet

During the most recent budget announcements by the government, it was mentioned that there will be an RM30 incentive for Malaysian citizens in the form of eWallet credits. This is to encourage Malaysians to go cashless and embrace the new digital age.

We’ve learned that Touch ‘n Go eWallet is selected as part of the government’s e-Tunai Rakyat program. The criteria to receive the free RM30 credit is the following:

  • Malaysian citizens
  • Above 18 years of age
  • Earning less than RM100,000 annually

The e-Tunai Rakyat program will be taking place for two months from 15th January 2020 to 14th March 2020. You can make use of your free credits in the same period of time. There are over 110,000 merchants that accept Touch ‘n Go eWallet as a payment option. It can be used for movies, flights, utilities, petrol, groceries, and more.

If you want to claim the free RM30 credit, you simply have to take the following steps:

  1. Download the Touch ‘n Go eWallet app.
  2. Verify your Touch ‘n Go eWallet account with a snapshot of your Identification Card, a selfie, and related personal details.
  3. Claim your RM30 free credit, along with other rewards, starting 15th January 2020.

Just be sure to keep this in mind so you don’t miss out. It’s essentially free money for you to use, and it gives you a good reason to try out eWallets if you have not done so yet.
