Razer Fintech To Sponsor Free Masks In Malaysia

You might recall our recent post that Razer is joining the fight against COVID-19. Well now they’ve announced that in collaboration with Berjaya Group, Razer Fintech will be making free masks across Malaysia.

They’ve said that the free masks will be made available for free to all Malaysian adults and residents as part of their #RazerForLife initiative. The masks will be made available through selected 7-Eleven Malaysia stores from the 1st of July 2020 and will subsequently be rolled out across all stores in Peninsular Malaysia.

A total of 5 free surgical masks will be given. How exactly does it work? Well you need to be aged 18 years and above as well as be a verified user of Razer Pay. Users will be given one free mask every month starting from July till November 2020 with a 30-day validity period.

You simply need to very your Razer Pay accounts by scanning your MyKad with a valid Malaysia mobile number account. Upon successful verification, a QR code will be given. The verified user can proceed to redeem their free mask at any 7-Eleven branch by scanning their QR code at the counter.

In addition to that, Razer hopes to rally everyone to support local businesses by encouraging more purchases. From 1st July till 31st of December 2020, those who conduct at least one transaction of RM10 or more by using your Razer Pay ewallet at local merchants in a single day can redeem one surgical mask from 7-Eleven stores through in-app redemption coupons.

This is limited to one free mask a day but there’s no limit to the number of days you can get the masks.
