Now everyone can drive a MINI

Launched in Malaysia just over a year ago, SOCAR has become the biggest car-sharing service in Malaysia with over 1000 cars available in over 500 zones across the country such as within Klang Valley and Johor Bahru. Now to kick-off the new year, the company will be expanding their services to the north in Penang. Starting from February 1st, SOCAR will be officially available in Penang with 50 cars and 21 zones located throughout both the island as well as mainland. There will also be one-way drives for customers who wish to travel from Kuala Lumpur to Penang for either business or just out for a weekend adventure.

Here are all the SOCAR zones located around Penang:

To celebrate the occasion, SOCAR will be giving away one-way trips to Penang from KL to their loyal customers free of charge. Just use the promo code “PENANG” and you’ll be able to enjoy the complimentary trip. Customers will be required to drop the car off at any SOCAR parking zone in Queensbay Mall, Penang. You have to be quick though as the promotion period will be ending really soon on the 31st January.

Pokdepinion: Hmmm. Anyone up for a food adventure in Penang with me this weekend?
