Malaysia has a lot of prepaid plans available for subscription that is offered by local telcos such as Xpax, Digi, Hotlink, U Mobile and more. We’ve compiled some of the prepaid plans offered into one article in hopes of making it easier for people to choose a plan that suits them best.

Celcom/Xpax

You will have to purchase an Xpax Prepaid Pack for RM10 first before you can activate the plans above. The Xpax Prepaid Pack also comes with:

  • RM6 preloaded credit
  • Calls at 30sen/min & SMS at 15sen/SMS

Celcom Xpax Special Data Package

From 6 January to 30 April this year, Xpax is offering the Special Data Package which is a prepaid Internet pass exclusively for SPM/STPM students. The package includes 15GB of data for RM20 and is valid for 30 days.

Eligible Xpax users can subscribe to the special internet data pass through the Celcom Life app. Existing Xpax users will receive an SMS with instructions to subscribe while new Celcom users will have to wait up to 4 working days to receive the SMS after a successful activated Xpax prepaid SIM.

Digi

Digi has 3 different types of prepaid plans. First one is the biGBonus prepaid plan which requires Digi Prepaid LIVE (costs RM8) which includes base features such as:

  • Free 10GB for Music and Video Streaming
  • Free 1000 minutes calls and SMS (up to 6 Buddyz)
  • RM5 credit
  • 300MB internet quota
  • Free basic internet
