These features are a first in the country and if you’re planning on catching all the action of the two big sport events, you’re in for a treat. You can enjoy every game in 4K HDR, giving you better visuals and more accurate colour plus contrast.

Live matches beyond the quarter finals of EURO 2020 will come with Dolby Atmoss, bringing the audio realism of being at the stadium right at your living room.

In addition to that, those who watch UEFA EURO 2020 on Astro Go can also expect an enhanced viewing experience with an all-new Interactive Mode, which is designed specifically for live sports, displaying interactive overlays to access instant highlights, match statistics, player statistics, fixtures of upcoming matches and more.

The company has said that over time they plan to introduce 4K HDR, Dolby Atmos, and Interactive Mode to the football leagues currently being broadcast on Astro.

To gain access to 4K HDR content, you will need a HDR-capable TV that supports HDR (HLG format), which is automatically enabled when detected by the Ultra Box. UEFA EURO 2020 will kick off this 12 June that sees Turkey against Turkey at 3am in Malaysia. For more details, you can head to the link right here. Pokdepinion: As it is right now, I’m only subscribed to Astro simply because of the sports channel, so this is a nice feature that they’re offering. Unfortunately I don’t have a 4K HDR-supported TV.. Time to find one?
