U Mobile GX30 users now get double the speed and hotspot quota

In light of the fierce competition from Celcom Xpax and Hotlink with their unlimited plans — “unlimited”, for the latter — U Mobile has just announced a free upgrade to their U Mobile Giler Unlimited plans. The U Mobile GX30 plan will offer twice the speed and hotspot quota starting tomorrow.

The new U Mobile GX30 will offer up to 6 Mbps speeds, up from 3 Mbps, In addition to that, hotspot users can enjoy more quota now, with both the U Mobile GX30 and U Mobile GX38 offering double the quota at 6GB now. The more expensive U Mobile GX38 plan will also get unlimited calls now while being RM3 more affordable now, to better go toe-to-toe against the RM35 plans in the market right now.

For users who need faster speeds, there’s also the Data Booster 5 add-on for 10GB of high-speed data for 14 days at just RM5. Additional hotspot quota can be purchased with the Hotspot Booster adding 3GB quota for 3 days at RM3. All eligible U Mobile customers will also receive GoInsure 3 insurance coverage for COVID-19, bringing even more value to the table.
