Facebook Dark Mode is Starting to Roll Out for Android and iOS - Here's How to Enable It 26

With pretty much every app out there have some form of Dark Mode, it’s odd that Facebook Dark Mode is still not available, at least for the mobile app itself. It appears that we don’t have to wait for much longer as the social media giant is starting to roll it out for Android and iOS devices.

Facebook Dark Mode is Starting to Roll Out for Android and iOS

First discovered by researcher Jane Manchun Wong and shown on her Twitter account, Facebook Dark Mode is already rolling out on a global scale to a much wider user base. Previously, it was in testing phase since June 2020 with only a very select few having access to it.

With that being said however, there are still many people across the globe who do not have access to Facebook Dark Mode just yet. If you’re wondering how to enable it if you have the feature in your app, it’s pretty easy.

In the Facebook app under the Menu tab, simply head on over to Settings & Privacy section and you will be the Dark Mode button. You can choose to have it forced on or off, or simply leave it to follow system-level settings. If you smartphone has OS-level dark mode which enables when the Sun goes down, the app can follow accordingly.

For regions that have yet to receive the Facebook Dark Mode update, there is no word yet on when exactly it will land. However, we don’t expect it to take too long for it to reach. We will update you as soon as information becomes available so stay tuned.

Pokdepinion: It sure does feel like they’re taking way too long just for this. Oh well, better late than never, I suppose.
