Google Launches Datally – An App That Saves You Data!

Google has recently launch an app called Datally, which is an application that lets you save your mobile data, specifically for Android smartphone users.

Google Launches Datally - An App That Saves You Data! 32With the introduction of Datally, Android smartphone users can now understand, control, and save mobile data easily. The app works on Android devices that runs on Android 5.0 (Lollipop) and higher versions.

The app lists data consumption by your apps and enables users to close off data transmission of the apps of their own choosing, quite handy when your data is nearing its limit. Google tested the app out in the Philippines and found out that the people who tested Datally saved up to 30% of mobile data.

If you want to monitor your data usage, the app comes with a convenient Data Saver bubble, where it shows your data consumption when it is enabled. In addition, users can choose to block one app’s data use if things get out of control, data wise.

In case you want things to be more personal, Datally can alert users when apps start to consume excessive amounts of data and it will also notify of how much data has been used on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis. This makes it easier for you to keep track of things.

That’s not all, the app helps when you are indeed are in desperation for data. With its Find WiFi feature, it will reveal public networks nearby which are rated by the Datally community. You yourself can also the network themselves once connected.
