Got something you need delivered immediately? GrabExpress can help you with that. It’s like Grab, but for stuff and not people. You can now send documents, parcels and gifts without having to wait a full day for courier services to ship it to your recipient.

The service is offered in Klang Valley for now, promising on-demand door-to-door deliver service. Aside from personal deliveries, Grab plans to support the e-commerce industry with GrabExpress’ quick deliveries. With the ability to ship items and have them arrive the same day, it makes it possible to deliver a lot more items that may not be suitable to be shipped by normal couriers.

Ordering a GrabExpress deliver is done via the Grab app. That makes it very simple for anyone who has used Grab, because it’s the same familiar and easy-to-use UI. GrabExpress also offers the ability to track your deliveries via a URL that will be sent via SMS to you. In addition to all that, Grab offers insurance coverage of up to RM500 for documents and parcels.

Parcels have to weigh less than 10kg and must not be over 30cm x 45cm x 42cm in size. GrabExpress charges by the distance, with the rate currently at RM1/km for the first 20km and RM2/km for each subsequent one. The minimum fare is RM10 which is a bummer if you just want to troll your neighbor.

Since its introduction last year, GrabExpress has grown exponentially. GrabExpress seen a 10x increase in deliveries since October 2018, with more than 50% being return customers. The number of delivery partners has also been increasing steadily.

We also have a promo code for you guys. Use GRABEXPRESS to get RM5 off your first delivery. This promo code only applies to the first 1000 redemptions though, so try it out quick!

Pokdepinion: Hopefully this will get picked up by more online retailers!
