It appears that Instagram is working to fight off misinformation to be display on their social media app. How exactly will they do it? Well they’ll simply flag those that are deemed false.

Apparently they are expanding their fact-checking program around the globe, where it will label any known false Facebook material, if it is shared to Instagram itself. It also works vice versa, Instagram – Facebook.

In these types of material, you will then see an overlay which writes “false information” and also the explanation to as why the content seems suspicious.

This will indeed benefit the two and their users from any misleading information. After all, they are two of the biggest social media platforms in the world.

Despite the news, we can probably guess that the feature won’t identify everything that’s fake out there, but hey, at least it’s a step in the right direction.

You can also help them by giving feedback to posts that you think are fake, which then helps them to identify.

Pokdepinion: The stuffs that’s over the internet can be dodgy sometimes… hope this will help to clear some of the misleading things that people believe in.
