New WhatsApp Update Could Show Video Previews
We are used to getting message previews on our smartphones for WhatsApp, but now it seems that there’s a possibility that they will be introducing an update that previews videos.

The new feature was leaked by WhatsApp leaker, WABetaInfo, whom last time shared that WhatsApp would go on to an advertisement route where you could soon see ads in the Status section.
The company is said to be working on an update which displays previews of videos when one of your contacts sends you a clip. Now it all sounds pretty decent, up until someone decides to send you something that is totally inappropriate.
As of now, notifications only pop out in your devices with the name of your contact as well as a short preview of the top of their message. Mentioned in the Tweet, the update is for beta iOS 2.18.102.5 version installed, with it soon to be available for App Store users.
Though there’s no confirmation whether Android users will get the update also, they probably could. For those who are at the receiving end of ‘naughty’ videos, you will be able to customize your notification settings (thank god). You can then set for your device to not show the previews.
