WhatsApp Multi-Device Support Feature Release Imminent 24

The WhatsApp multi-device support is a long-awaited feature for many years now, and it’s almost ready to launch. According to WABetaInfo, the feature is now in the final stages of development, and they will be doing an open beta test for the feature next.

From what we understand thus far, the open beta test will be applicable for both Android and iOS users. Furthermore, the WhatsApp multi-device support feature will work with up to four devices at the same time.

It’s interesting to think that competing messaging app Telegram already has the feature running for a while now. The closest it can get to it is a desktop application, which basically mirrors what is on your mobile device to your PC, but you can type out more comfortably with a proper keyboard.

Apart from the new feature, WhatsApp will continue to work, and disclose, on a number of vulnerabilities that the app currently faces. Previously, we reported about 6 undisclosed vulnerabilities that had the potential to wreak havoc if taken advantage of by hackers. Fortunately, nothing came out of it and it was fixed in time. If you want to read more about that, click right here.

For now, there is no word yet on when the feature will be publicly available, nor when the open beta test will begin. We will report more on this as soon as information becomes available so stay tuned.
