Adobe Testing New Web-Based Photoshop

Adobe Testing New Web-Based Photoshop and It's FREE

Adobe is currently testing a web-based version of their popular picture-editing software, Photoshop, and it’s free. It is said to be done in order to introduce more people to the app.

At the moment, the testing is said to take place in Canada and requires an Adobe account to work. The service is described as “freemium” so you don’t need to pay anything but the function will be limited. If you want the full experience, you will have to pay up.

For now, this web-based Photoshop will include full access to all the features, and some will become limited to subscribers somewhere down the road. Previously, this was only available to users with a paid Creative Cloud subscription. You can do basic editing and it even supports layers, so you don’t have to worry about missing out too much.

For now, there’s no word on when this will be rolling out to countries outside of Canada, or when the features will start to become limited. We will report more on this as soon as information becomes available so stay tuned.

Pokdepinion: I took the time to learn about Canva for online picture editing, and now I’m hoping this would come to Malaysia soon. I’m too ingrained in the Adobe ecosystem, it would be convenient to continue staying within it.
