List Of Shows From Disney+ Hotstar New APAC Content Update

Walt Disney Company has recently revealed at an event today of over 20 new APAC content titles including 18 Originals that subscribers can look for from the region for their streaming platform.

Disney+ Hotstar new shows to expect

The new APAC projects include original productions by leading content creators from several markets including Japan, South Korea, Indonesia, Greater China, and Australia.

Subject to local availability, the new APAC content titles will be available on the streaming service over the next year. The new projects unveiled today are part of Disney’s ambition to greenlight over 50 Originals by 2023.

Specifically for Malaysia, subscribers can look forward to a slew of APAC content coming to Disney+ Hotstar over the the next year and here’s the list:

• Grid
• BLACKPINK: The Movie
• Rookies
• Tokyo MER (Mobile Emergency Room)
• BLACK ROCK SHOOTER DAWN FALL
• Summer Time Rendering
• YOJOHAN TIME MACHINE BLUES
• Twisted Wonderland
• Susah Sinyal
• Bumilangit
• Small & Mighty
• Delicacies Destiny
• Shipwreck Hunters

Aside from that, Disney has recently announced the launch of The Walt Disney Company’s APAC Creative Experience Program which will connect top creators from the region with Disney’s filmmakers and creators. This will provide opportunities for creators from APAC to meet executives and creatives from many of the company’s key brands and studios.

Pokdepinion: While I’m glad to see that they’re putting more content on the platform, I can’t really say that I’m particularly interested in one of the shows. Maybe that’s just me..
