The upcoming Snapdragon 710 looks set to be a beastly mid-range chipset with the latest Kryo 300 cores in a new 2 performance cores + 6 efficiency cores configuration.
In collaboration with Samsung, Qualcomm announced its latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 835, based on the new 10nm manufacturing process. It will be an octa-core processor with the new Quick Charge 4.0 technology.
The new GLOBALFOUNDRIES 7nm FinFet technology is expected to have double the transistor density and 30% performance boost compared the current 16/14nm FinFET technology.
The NVIDIA Volta might be based on the 16nm process, similar to current Pascal parts, and arrive sometime in May 2017, instead of being on 10nm in 2017.
