AMD's 12nm GPU is finally here. It's the AMD Radeon RX 590, and it's pretty damn impressive. Still based on Polaris though, but impressive.

This looks like an exceptionally low cost way of extracting more performance out of the AMD Polaris GPU architecture. And if it works, why not?

The upcoming Radeon RX 600-series cards will roll out very soon, starting with the Radeon RX 670, followed by the RX 680.
