Samsung has announced the official launch of the Galaxy Ring in Malaysia, after a year since the announcement – for all intents and purposes, it wears the same like a conventional ring (size must be tailored to the user), with nine sizes available and weighing only slightly more than conventional equivalent.
Galaxy Ring Lands In Malaysia

The Galaxy Ring is constructed with a titanium frame and comes with three color options: Titanium Black, Titanium Silver, and Titanium Gold. The device is water resistant up to 10 ATM (equivalent to 100m underwater) and offers a battery life ranging from 4-7 days on a single charge depending on the ring size. On that note, each unit includes a transparent clamshell charging case designed to resemble a jewelry box and features LED indicators for charging status.

The ring includes three built-in sensors that track heart rate, skin temperature, and movement, and processed biometric data are used to generate health reports accessible via the Samsung Health app. Speaking of which, the app features include Energy Score, which evaluates readiness based on sleep, activity, and heart rate; Wellness Tips, which offers daily guidance based on behavior patterns; and Cycle Tracking for women, which uses skin temperature readings and predictive analytics to monitor menstrual cycles.

The Galaxy Ring is now available nationwide through Samsung authorized channels, at a recommended retail price of RM2,099 – but buying one won’t be a straightforward affair like you’d do with phones. Starting today until 30 April 2025, the Galaxy Ring will be open to purchase for owners of select Galaxy S and Galaxy Z smartphones (S20 and up, S21 FE and up, Z Flip3 and Z Fold3 and up), and users are required to obtain the invitation code via Samsung Members app to proceed.
