Lenovo has announced several new products for commercial markets in its IFA 2025 event – aside from the usual ThinkPad lineup refreshes and updates, there are three concept products previewing upcoming designs from the PC giant.
Lenovo Concept Products

Let’s start with the concepts: the ThinkBook VertiFlex Concept (Project Pivo) laptop looks straightforward on paper, featuring a 14-inch rotatable display that supports horizontal and vertical orientations, the latter of which allows smartphones to be tethered seamlessly via Lenovo Smart Connect app for file transfers and display mirroring. The laptop is otherwise in a standard form factor with a 17.9mm thickness and 1.39kg weight.

Accompanying the laptop is the Smart Motion Concept (Project Ballet) laptop stand with motorized arm that allow the stand to face the user, though it can also be manually controlled via an “AI ring”, which is just a fancy way of describing a remote control, we suppose. Lenovo also presented the NaturaSynth Display concept with “hardware-based zero blue light technology,” which cuts blue light emissions to under 1% with a design that “mimics natural light illumination,” according to the company.
ThinkPads

Moving on to ThinkPads: the ThinkPad P16 Gen 3 mobile workstation now features Intel Core Ultra 200HX processors with paired with up to NVIDIA RTX PRO 5000 Blackwell graphics; other additions to the mobile workstation portfolio include the ThinkPad P1 Gen 8, P16v Gen 3, P16s Gen 4, and P14s Gen 6, all featuring Intel Core Ultra CPUs and NVIDIA RTX PRO graphics. Lenovo also announced the ThinkPad X9 Aura Edition – already debuted earlier this year – will feature a new Glacier White color option.

Laptops aside, there’s the Lenovo ThinkVision P40WD-40 curved 21:9 ultrawide monitor. It offers a 39.7-inch 2500R curved display with 5120×2160 resolution, 24-120Hz variable refresh rate, 98% DCI-P3 color coverage, and IPS Black technology. It also integrates docking capabilities with Thunderbolt 4, DisplayPort, and PD 3.1 charging up to 140W. The ThinkCentre neo Ultra Gen 2 also gains NVIDIA RTX 5060 Ti support, along with support for 7 simultaneous display outputs.
Pokdepinion: The ThinkBook P16 Gen 3 has a surprisingly retro looks actually.
