ASUS unveils lineup of ProArt StudioBook in Malaysia
ASUS has just announced the new ASUS ProArt lineup here in Malaysia. While previously ProArt displays were already offered in Malaysia, along with selected ASUS ProArt motherboards, this is the first time the ASUS ProArt laptops are now offered here in Malaysia.
ProArt StudioBook Pro 17
The most “affordable” of the three laptops announced today, the ProArt StudioBook Pro 17 starts from just RM8199. Allowing it to carry the ProArt moniker is its use of a 17″ IPS display panel that’s capable of displaying 97% of the DCI-P3 color gamut along with a factory calibrated color accuracy of Delta E <1.5. But of course it will have to offer much more than a splendid display.
ASUS also packed the ProArt StudioBook Pro 17 with NVIDIA Quadro graphics ranging up to the Quadro RTX 3000 Max-Q to allow for some serious content creation or mission critical calculations and simulations to be performed on the ProArt StudioBook One. The CPU is relatively outdated at this point with an Intel Core i7-9750H under the hood, but it is by no means slow. This is paired up with 32GB RAM for seamless multitasking. All of it is packed into a relatively portable package weighing just 2.39kg.
There will be three variants of the ProArt StudioBook Pro 17 here in Malaysia with the following specifications and pricing.

ProArt StudioBook Pro X
If you want an even more feature-packed laptop featuring NVIDIA Quadro graphics, there’s the ProArt StudioBook Pro X. It comes with the ASUS ScreenPad 2.0 for an expanded working area, and the main screen itself has thin bezels all around, which makes for a more compact laptop. While it is smaller, it is slightly heftier at 2.5kg.
The heavier weight also hints at more horsepower under the hood. Instead of your standard Intel Core processors, the ProArt StudioBook Pro X packs an Intel Xeon E-2276M. This is mated to 64GB of DDR4 ECC memory. The GPU is also significantly more powerful with a NVIDIA Quadro RTX 5000 with 16GB GDDR6.

ProArt StudioBook One
If that’s still not enough GPU power for you, well then it’s time to take a step up. The ProArt StudioBook One is a beast of a laptop and it literally costs as much as a car at RM49 999. But of course, the ability to carry this much performance with you in a backpack is probably worth more to an engineer or designer who needs this kind of horsepower when on the go.

Pokdepinion: These laptops are so beast that I am actually worried I can’t benchmark them properly to do them justice.
