Enthusiasts were treated to a glimpse of the H6 during a preview session last May, albeit with non-finalized units. However, recent revelations from China showcase vehicles representative of what Malaysian buyers can expect. While precise specifications remain undisclosed, visual cues hint at minor variations in trim and upholstery, with notable consistency across other aspects.

Measuring at 4,683 mm in length, 1,886 mm in width, and 1,730 mm in height, the Haval H6 Hybrid positions itself alongside industry stalwarts like the Honda CR-V, Proton X70, and Mazda CX-5, boasting a longer wheelbase for enhanced interior spaciousness.

Under the hood, the H6 Hybrid packs a potent punch with a 1.5-liter turbocharged inline-four petrol engine complemented by an electric motor, delivering a total system output of 243 PS and 530 Nm of torque. Power is seamlessly transmitted via the automaker’s two-speed Dedicated Hybrid Transmission (DHT), offering optimal performance across diverse driving conditions.

Safety remains paramount with a comprehensive suite of driver assistance systems, ensuring a safe and seamless driving experience.

While pricing details remain undisclosed, the Haval H6 Hybrid is poised to make its Malaysian debut as a fully-imported (CBU) model, with local assembly set to follow at EP Manufacturing’s (EPMB) plant in Melaka in the future. As anticipation mounts for the arrival of the H6 Hybrid, automotive aficionados await further insights into its pricing and availability.
