smart Malaysia officially announced it has opened its second dealership in Johor Bahru, operated by AG Autoworld (EV). Officially, this will now be referred as ‘smart Johor Bahru 2’ dealer (or ‘community-centric hub’ as the automaker calls it) located at Johor’s capital city, serving the southern region alongside the existing Skudai outlet.

According to smart’s press release, AG Autoworld is known for its strong reputation over decades, recently earning several awards under the PROTON brand at the Proton 2024 Dealer Conference & Recognition Awards, including Gold Award, top honors in Sales Volume and B&P Performance.
The dealership will provide a comprehensive range of services for EV enthusiasts, including after-sales care and a showcase of exclusive smartIdea merchandise. The 230m² facility includes space for three display units and a delivery bay, set to open in early Q4 this year.
This week, AG Autoworld will be hosting the BRABUS Fever Roadshow until 18 August 2024 at Aeon Tebrau City Mall, featuring the smart #3 compact crossover EV. Offers are available on site with discounts up to RM30,000 for the smart #1 BRABUS, which is the spiced-up version of subcompact crossover EV with 428 hp and 543 Nm on tap.
With the addition of smart Johor Bahru 2, smart Malaysia now has 13 appointed dealers and 14 outlets in total, with 11 currently operational, including this new location.
