Rockstar Games might be closer to releasing a PC version of Red Dead Redemption, as hinted by a surprise listing on the PlayStation Store page, Eurogamer reports.

Red Dead Redemption PC Is All But Confirmed

Initially, the page briefly stated that players could now experience Red Dead Redemption on PC ‘for the first time ever’. The introduction of the game reads: “Featuring the complete single-player experiences of both games, including bonus content from the Game of the Year Edition, Red Dead Redemption features all of the 2023 console version upgrades plus PC specific enhancements including support for increased resolutions and framerates, multiple displays, and other accessories, plus spatial surround sound.”

As the gaming publication noted, the initial retraction of the PC-related information was apparently incomplete (leaving the bottom part still referencing PC-exclusive features), and it was only on the second try where traces of a PC release is finally hidden.

This isn’t the first hint of RDR’s potential PC release, however. Back in May, datamined information pointed to Rockstar prepping the game for PC from a string of text found in a file originated from Rockstar’s website for its game launcher. While official confirmation is still pending, it’s pretty much a matter of time until Red Dead Redemption eventually make its way to PC, 14 years after its original release.

Pokdepinion: Looks like the game might just be launched within this year at this rate.
