Exciting news for SUV enthusiasts as the 2025 Toyota Corolla Cross facelift is set to make its debut in Malaysia as early as next month. Several local dealers have confirmed that the current variants of this popular SUV are selling fast, signaling the anticipation for the facelifted version.
Current Corolla Cross Variants Selling Out Quickly

According to a report on Wapcar, dealers in the central region have already reported that their stocks of the Corolla Cross Hybrid have sold out, while those in the northern region still have some inventory available, though supplies are dwindling quickly. This surge in demand comes as buyers take advantage of the remaining units before the facelift arrives.
For those considering purchasing the current Toyota Corolla Cross, here’s a quick look at the pricing:
- 1.8G: RM130,900
- 1.8V: RM137,900
- Hybrid: RM143,000
- GR Sport: RM147,000
Currently, there are also October promotions offering up to RM8,000 in discounts, subject to terms and conditions. It’s a good time to snag a deal if you’re considering the outgoing model.
What to Expect from the Toyota Corolla Cross Facelift?

While it’s still early to confirm the exact specifications for the Malaysian market, the facelifted Corolla Cross as sold in Thailand gives us a good idea of what to expect.
One of the main highlights of the updated model is the inclusion of a standard electric parking brake (EPB). Additionally, higher variants are set to feature a 12.3-inch fully digital instrument cluster, while the lower variants will come with a 7-inch TFT display.
The facelift also brings a refreshed design and updates to the Toyota Safety Sense suite, enhancing the vehicle’s advanced safety features. Despite these upgrades, the pricing in Thailand remains consistent with the pre-facelift model, ranging between THB999,000 and THB1.254 million (approximately RM133k to 167k).
Pokdepinion: Of all the cars I’ve reviewed, this was one of my favorites but some of its shortcomings, which were oddly not present in the bigger Innova Zenix, were annoying to deal with. The facelift is expected to alleviate those issues and when it’s out, I might just get one for myself.
