Razer has announced two new webcams to its lineup – the Razer Kiyo V2 and Kiyo V2 X replaces the original lineup after many years, with big upgrades along the way.
Razer Kiyo V2 Series

The Razer Kiyo V2 now supports up to 4K 30FPS resolution with HDR, courtesy of a 8.3-megapixel Sony STARVIS image sensor; the field-of-view is also wider at 93 degrees. It supports multiple video encoding formats, including MJPEG, YUY2, and NV12, though the latter two formats limits the maximum framerates to 15FPS and 20FPS respectively under 4K resolutions (all formats support 1080p 60FPS, however). There’s also autofocus, onboard microphone and privacy shutter built-in.
Razer also collaborated with Reincubate to integrate the Kiyo V2 with Camo Studio software, providing AI-powered features such as auto-framing, background segmentation, and adaptive lighting correction through a single interface. Note that this is exclusive to this model, whereas the cheaper model will not get this feature. Speaking of which, the Razer Kiyo V2 X features a 3.7-megapixel sensor that supports up to 1440p 60FPS, and it also supports autofocus, integrated stereo microphone, privacy shutter, albeit with a narrower 80° field-of-view.
Both the Razer Kiyo V2 and Kiyo V2 X is now available on Razer.com, RazerStores, and select retailers for the price of RM729 and RM469 respectively.
