NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4060 Ti 8GB Now Available, 16GB & Non-Ti Model To Follow

NVIDIA has announced three new GPUs today under the RTX 4060 family: the RTX 4060 Ti 8GB, RTX 4060 Ti 16GB as well as RTX 4060. The new models will bring RTX 40 series and its features – such as DLSS 3 – down to the 1080p segment.

The RTX 4060 Ti, which comes with either 8GB or 16GB of GDDR6 VRAM, feature 160W TGP, 4352 CUDAs and 128-bit memory bus paired with much larger pool of L2 cache at 32MB (which effectively measures the memory bandwidth at 554GB/s when combined). The RTX 4060 Ti 8GB (with Founders Edition available) is priced at $399 with availability starting at May 24th; while the 16GB version is set to launch in July, alongside the vanilla RTX 4060, at the price of $499.

NVIDIA is claiming RTX 4060 Ti to be 1.6x faster than RTX 2060 SUPER, with no mentions of raster performance comparison to its direct predecessor, the RTX 3060 Ti. The company is more keen to claim its performance figures with DLSS 3 enabled – which up until now remains a RTX 40-exclusive.

Meanwhile, the standard RTX 4060 (115W TGP, 3072 CUDAs, 8GB GDDR6 & 24MB L2 cache) is priced at $299 and set to launch this July. No word on whether this model may come with FE versions, as NVIDIA skipped making RTX 3060 FE entirely so Founder Edition may only finds its way for the Ti version.

Pokdepinion: $100 difference with the only difference being double the RAM, seems expensive?
