Alienware today is announcing seven new gaming monitors, including three new QD-OLED offerings and cheaper models to expand the brand’s target audience. Despite seven models announced, one of them will not be launched in Malaysia market, according to the brand’s local press release.
The updated monitors now incorporates the brand’s new “AW30” design language, a new aesthetic approach inspired by “extraterrestrial phenomena” – the AW30 design introduces features such as the Interstellar Indigo colorway, compact base, streamlined cable management, and 360-degree ventilation to improve airflow. The new monitors also feature an updated on-screen display interface and integrated Alienware Command Center support.

The QD-OLED lineup now includes three new models: First, the Alienware 34 Ultra-Wide QD-OLED Monitor (AW3425DW) builds on its predecessor with ultrawide QHD resolution (3440×1440), 240Hz refresh rate, HDMI 2.1 FRL, and support for G-SYNC Compatible, AMD FreeSync Premium Pro, and VESA AdaptiveSync standards. The display is also housed in a curved panel with 1800R curvature.

Additional models include the Alienware 27 280Hz QD-OLED Monitor (AW2725D) with QHD resolution and 280Hz refresh rate, as well as the Alienware 27 4K QD-OLED Monitor (AW2725Q) with 4K resolution for high pixel density. For extra peace of mind, the company says all QD-OLED models under the brand come with a three-year limited OLED burn-in hardware warranty.
Besides the QD-OLED lineup, there’s also the Alienware 25 320Hz Monitor (AW2525HM) aimed towards competitive gamers “without breaking the bank”. While no local pricing is announced thus far, the company is targeting a $249.99 US MSRP for this 1080p monitor, which roughly converts to RM1,100 based on exchange rates. Not too bad of a price for an esports-centric model, to be fair.

The brand is also expanding into new price categories with three additional QHD monitors: the Alienware 34 Gaming Monitor (AW3425DWM), Alienware 32 Gaming Monitor (AW3225DM), and Alienware 27 Gaming Monitor (AW2725DM). These monitors offer a 180Hz refresh rate, 1ms response time, and certifications for NVIDIA G-SYNC, AMD FreeSync, and VESA AdaptiveSync; they also feature DCI-P3 95% color coverage and VESA DisplayHDR400 certification.
So far, only two monitors have local pricing announced, and they include the AW3425DWM which costs RM1,799, while the AM2725DM costs RM1,259. These two models will be available in March and April respectively, while other models currently don’t have a local pricing yet. One model – the AW3225DM – will not be available in Malaysia market.
Pokdepinion: Decent prices so far, actually.
