Xiaomi has announced the global launch of the Redmi 15, with battery features being its selling point – the 7000mAh battery onboard is the brand’s largest battery capacity in the global market to date. Besides that, the device supports 33W fast charging, 18W reverse charging, and features Smart Charging Engine 2.0 with Battery Health 4.0 for extended battery reliability.

Large battery aside, the Redmi 15 features a 6.9-inch FHD+ display with a refresh rate of up to 144Hz along with 288Hz touch sampling rate, this IPS panel has also received TÜV Rheinland certifications for Low Blue Light, Flicker-Free, and Circadian Friendly viewing. Its quad-curved back and metal-framed design are complemented by IP64-rated water and dust resistance, alongside Wet Touch Technology 2.0 for to enable usage in rainy or wet conditions.
The chipset powering this smartphone is the Qualcomm Snapdragon 6s Gen 3, coupled with 8GB of RAM and supports virtual memory of up to 16GB, along with 2TB microSD card support. The Redmi 15 also includes a dual camera system (despite its design mimicking triple-camera setup) with a primary 50MP sensor, along with a largely unspecified “auxiliary lens”. The selfie camera is an 8MP unit located in a punch hole cut-out from the display. In terms of software, the smartphone runs on Xiaomi’s HyperOS 2 based on Android 15, though software support length is not yet specified.

The Redmi 15 is now available in Malaysia in Ripple Green, Titan Gray, and Midnight Black with one storage variant available (8GB+256GB), priced at RM729 and can be purchased through official Xiaomi stores and official website.
