Meet Nothing Headphone (1) Pro – as the company’s new flagship headphones, this new model is “built for audio enthusiasts who want the most detailed and customizable listening experience.” The brand argues most headphones are built for either studio work or casual listening, but not both at the same time, which this new set of cans aims to address.

Unlike most headphones that use a single driver, Nothing Headphone (1) Pro uses a triple driver setup, with each driver handling a distinct part of the frequency range. A bass dynamic driver is designed to add punch and sensitivity to low frequencies, a precision dynamic driver handles vocals and instruments, and a new treble xMEMS driver is intended to sharpen high frequencies.

The headphones were tuned in partnership with Metropolis Studios, which contributed its expertise in professional audio tools and soundstage design. This includes a dedicated Flat EQ Switch for a neutral sound profile aimed at producers, a new Dynamic Spatial Audio mode called Studio B that replicates the acoustic character of a mixing room, and five Custom EQ profiles designed around British music (which is where Nothing comes from).

Nothing describes the Headphone (1) Pro as having its most advanced Active Noise Cancellation to date, rated at up to 46dB; it uses a 10-microphone system to more accurately filter ambient sound in conditions such as wind or traffic, coupled with redesigned ear cushions with an 8mm silicone baffle wall for a stronger seal. The headphones support Hi-Res wireless and wired playback via USB-C, with lossless audio up to 24-bit/192kHz, alongside five modes of Dynamic Spatial Audio with head tracking.

The companion Nothing X app allows users to adjust tuning through an Advanced EQ mode, which lets users control the Main and Precision drivers individually across the frequency range, or a Simple EQ mode for adjusting elements like bass and vocals. The app also supports Personal Sound profiles and custom EQ presets.

The Headphone (1) Pro carries Nothing’s transparent design language, with 9H Panda glass on both ear cups offering a view of the triple driver architecture, combined with aluminum and titanium for durability. Nothing says the headphones weigh 327g, reduced through a redesigned internal structure that replaces steel arms with titanium and uses softer ear cushions. A wider headband with thicker padding is intended to distribute weight more evenly for extended wear.

The headphones offer up to 68 hours of battery life with ANC turned off, along with fast charging and an IP52 rating. They are available in Black and White. Nothing has not disclosed local pricing for the Headphone (1) Pro just yet (UK pricing is £349, or ~RM1,891) – it will be available in Malaysia at a later date, with further local availability details to be announced.

Pokdepinion: That’s a pretty unusual architecture on paper – maybe this could be a solid one.
