Honda Malaysia has officially opened bookings for the new Honda City Hatchback facelift, following the recent launch of its new Honda City Sedan. The new hatchback comes with refreshed exterior styling, a redesigned interior, enhanced connectivity features, and an upgraded safety package.
2026 Honda City Hatchback Facelift
Like the sedan, the front end has been redesigned across all variants with a light bar-esque design that is all the rage in automotive scene these days – new Connected Headlights “strengthen [the car’s] road presence,” Honda claims, while updated wheel designs give it a more “bold character.” The RS variant specifically receives new 16-inch two-tone alloy wheels in a Berlina Black and Dark Clear finish.
Inside, the cabin receives a refined 3D Pattern Mid Garnish with Ambient Light on the dashboard, while the infotainment system has been upgraded to a larger 10-inch Display Audio unit with a floating form factor for easier interaction. Honda’s signature ULTRA Seats (Utility, Long, Tall, and Refresh) are carried over, offering four versatile configurations so occupants can adjust the cabin layout to suit different needs, from extra passenger space to expanded cargo capacity.
The range-topping variant of the Honda City Hatchback refresh continues with the 1.5L e:HEV hybrid powertrain, producing 109PS and 253Nm of torque; Honda is confident enough to back this system with a 10-year hybrid battery and components warranty with unlimited mileage. On the safety front, all variants now come standard with a 360-degree Multi-View Camera System to assist with parking and low-speed maneuvering, while Blind Spot Information and Cross Traffic Monitoring are also included.
Separately, Honda Malaysia’s extended warranty program applies to the facelifted Honda City Hatchback. Effective from 1 September 2026, all new Honda petrol and hybrid models come with up to 8 years of warranty coverage with unlimited mileage.
