Acer Malaysia has opened its first Predator concept store at Plaza Low Yat, Kuala Lumpur, set to serve as a dedicated space for gamers and enthusiasts to experience the latest Predator gaming products and technologies under one roof. To mark the occasion, Acer also unveiled the Predator Orion 7000 gaming desktop, aimed at gamers, content creators, and professionals who require high-end performance.
Predator Concept Store @ Plaza Low Yat
The Predator concept store at Plaza Low Yat is designed as a “one-stop destination” where visitors can explore and interact with the full range of Predator gaming hardware. The store puts the spotlight on Acer’s gaming lineup, where consumers get hands-on access to products that were previously only available through general electronics retailers.
Alongside the store opening, Acer unveiled the Predator Orion 7000 gaming desktop – it is powered by Intel Core Ultra 9 285K processor with NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5080 graphics, 32GB DDR5-6000 RAM with RGB lighting, as well as 1TB of SSD storage onboard. As a desktop, it comes with plenty of expansion opportunities, including up to 128GB RAM, up to 6TB SSD (via two M.2 slots), and space for up to 4TB of 3.5-inch HDDs.
The desktop is now available at authorized Acer resellers and the Acer eStore, with a RM18,999 price tag; purchases made before 14 October 2026 are eligible for a free Predator Cestus 335 gaming mouse. Aside from that, the PC maker is offering store open promotions with discounts on selected gaming hardware.
Predator League 2027 Malaysia Qualifier Opens For VALORANT Teams
Coinciding with the store launch, Acer Malaysia has opened registration for the Malaysia qualifier of the Asia Pacific Predator League 2027. The qualifier runs across October and November 2026 and is open exclusively to VALORANT esports teams. A total prize pool of RM36,000 is up for grabs, with the champion earning a spot at the regional Grand Finals.
The Asia Pacific Predator League 2027 Grand Finals are set to take place in Vietnam in January 2027; Malaysia’s champion will compete against top teams from 14 regions for a share of the USD400,000 regional prize pool and the coveted Predator Shield. The Vietnam edition will also feature refreshed designs of Predator’s iconic mascots Yuffy and Nero, reimagined with visual references to Vietnamese cultural heritage.
The Asia Pacific Predator League has been running since 2018 and has grown into one of the longest-running brand-owned esports tournaments in the region.
