The HUAWEI Watch 6 Series is heading to Malaysia on 3 November 2026, accompanied by the HUAWEI FreeBuds SE 5 Max. As the highlight of the upcoming launch, the Watch 6 Series is expected to introduce upgrades across four pillars: Intelligent Aesthetics, Intelligent Health, Intelligent Experience and Intelligent Workout.
HUAWEI Watch 6 Series
The HUAWEI Watch 6 Series comprises the HUAWEI Watch 6 and the HUAWEI Watch 6 Pro, available in 42mm, 43mm and 46mm case sizes. The line-up uses spherical sapphire glass across all models, with titanium reserved for selected Pro variants. The HUAWEI Watch 6 Pro Ceramic Edition uses nano-tech ceramic and features 18K gold detailing around the crown, button and X-TAP element, whereas the Space Edition pairs a black ceramic bezel with gold accents for a more distinctive finish.
On the health front, the series introduces Multi-Sensing X-TAP Technology, enabling health interactions through a simple touch. The HUAWEI Watch 6 Series is the first smartwatch in Malaysia to support both the Hypertension Risk Study and the Diabetes Risk Study, and the upgraded Health Glance now covers 13 health metrics, up from nine previously, completing a comprehensive health risk screening in 60 seconds across basic, cardiovascular, endocrine and respiratory health categories.
Beyond health, the series includes eSIM connectivity for calls directly from the watch, Dual-Phone Connection for switching between two paired smartphones, a Safety Check feature for sharing location and physical status with designated contacts, as well as new smart gesture controls.
Pre-orders for the HUAWEI Watch 6 Series are open until 2 November 2026, with complimentary gifts worth up to RM993 for early buyers. Gifts include the Huawei FreeBuds SE 2 (RRP: RM199), three months of HUAWEI Health+ Membership, one month of HUAWEI Watch Face Membership, a one-year APAC Warranty, a one-year Worry-Free Package (RRP: RM579) and an inbox watch strap (RRP: RM149).
HUAWEI FreeBuds SE 5 Max
The HUAWEI FreeBuds SE 5 Max arrives alongside the Watch 6 series on 3 November 2026 and is priced at RM159. The earbuds offer up to 10 hours of playback on a single charge and up to 80 hours total with the charging case. Adaptive Active Noise Cancellation reaches up to 52dB, supported by a six-microphone system for clearer call quality. It also supports multipoint connection across iOS and Android, Hi-Res Audio certification and LDAC for higher-quality audio playback. IP55 water and dust resistance rounds out the feature set.
Pokdepinion: Thirteen health metrics in 60 seconds sounds like cognitive overload.
