SAIC Motor Malaysia has concluded its MG Celebrate National Pride campaign with a grand prize giving ceremony held at MG Motor Glenmarie, rewarding the winner of a nationwide MGS5 EV test drive promotion that ran in conjunction with Merdeka and Malaysia Day celebrations.

The campaign, which took place from 15 August to 30 September 2026, invited visitors across MG Motor dealerships nationwide to test drive the all-new MGS5 EV, submit a photo, and share a creative caption describing their driving experience.
Grand Prize winner Nur Sara ‘Atikah binti Saiful Azlan attended the ceremony accompanied by her family. She was awarded an Apple MacBook Neo for her participation, while 20 runners-up each received RM50 Touch ‘n Go eWallet credits. As an MGS5 EV owner herself, she noted that the vehicle suits her family of five well, citing its cabin space, physical air conditioning controls, and driver fatigue alert safety features as standout qualities for daily Kuala Lumpur driving and longer family road trips.
At the center of the MG Celebrate National Pride campaign was the MGS5 EV, MG’s B-segment all-electric family SUV. The model is offered in COM and LUX variants, with prices starting from RM103,900, backed by a 7-year/150,000km vehicle warranty and an 8-year/180,000km battery pack warranty.
