The latest all-electric SUV from Kia Corporation (Kia), the Kia EV3, is the first electric vehicle to feature this innovative solution, bringing unparalleled entertainment options to its passengers.
Initially launched in South Korea last year with Hyundai Motor Group’s Genesis GV80 and GV80 Coupe, LG’s webOS-based ACP is designed to transform vehicles into “living spaces on wheels,” seamlessly integrating home entertainment into the car cabin. This platform is a crucial part of LG AlphaWare, LG’s comprehensive suite of software solutions for software-defined vehicles (SDVs).

Kia EV3 owners and passengers can access apps from premium content providers such as Netflix, YouTube, Baby Shark World for Kids, Stingray Karaoke, Play.Works, and LG Channels. The close collaboration between the two companies ensure that the Kia EV3’s built-in screens provide easy access to this diverse content array, offering everything from streaming services and social media platforms to educational content for kids.
LG’s webOS-based entertainment system is continuously updated and enhanced, ensuring compatibility with popular applications like Baby Shark World for Kids. This mobile education app, cherished by children worldwide, features over 9,000 songs and stories designed to educate and entertain young learners. It is readily available for download from the LG Content Store on the ACP.
Moreover, LG’s ACP now includes the company’s exclusive, free streaming service, LG Channels. Tailored for in-vehicle use, LG Channels offers over 80 channels, real-time news updates, and more than 400 VOD content options, including movies, dramas, and animated series for children. All this content is accessible without complex sign-ups, enhancing the convenience for users.
