According to an anonymous tipster via Lowyat.net, there was an internal announcement sent to retail partners in both Malaysia and Singapore late last month. The announcement reveals the company’s decision to pull out from the retail segment of both market after they have reviewed their presence across several regions in the world.

This means that Dell Malaysia, as well as Singapore, will no longer be accepting new orders from local retailers from now onwards. However, the company will still be honouring any existing contractual obligations with their retail partners and customers.

Dell has given a statement to Lowyat.net, which reads:

Dell Technologies has announced plans to transition out of the retail market in Singapore and Malaysia. Customers will still have access to the full complement of our products and services through Dell direct.
